Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Wednesday, received Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, at the Presidential Complex in the capital, Ankara, and discussed regional and global issues, according to a statement by Turkiye’s Communications Directorate, Anadolu Agency reports. During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed bilateral ties, the statement said. Erdogan noted that the Government of National Unity is “the legitimate interlocutor” in Libya for Turkiye, it added. Turkiye will continue to develop bilateral relations in many areas, including energy, security and maritime affairs, the Turkish President said, according to the statement.
