The African nation of Djibouti is seeking to deepen its collaboration with Turkiye in the medical sector, Anadolu Agency reports. On Monday, Prime Minister Mohamed hosted the Turkish Transplant Foundation in Djibouti, also the country’s capital, as part of strategic cooperation efforts between the two nations. Discussions centred on the establishment of a National Transplant Centre in the Horn of Africa country, according to state-run daily, La Nation. Mohamed highlighted the importance of expanding access to care for congenital malformations through national partnerships, consolidating organ donation regulations and strengthening public awareness campaigns on organ donation.
