Reports: Israel warns citizens against travel to 15 countries

The Israeli National Security Council has warned Israelis against travel to 15 countries ahead of the Jewish holiday season and until further notice, Israeli media reported yesterday. The council, which is affiliated with the Israeli army, has prohibited Israelis from travel to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, saying the popular tourist destination has been designated a level 4 travel alert (high threat level). The 15 countries that constitute a particular danger for Israelis to visit include Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran and Turkiye.
