Turkiye, on Tuesday, condemned Israel’s criticism of the Turkish President’s meeting with the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor, Anadolu Agency reports. In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the Israeli statement is “an effort by Israel to cover up the genocide it is committing”. Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Monday received ICC Prosecutor, Karim Khan, in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The statement also hit back at Israel’s accusations against Erdogan, saying they show a “guilty conscience”.
