Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan yesterday congratulated Hamas on reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, stressing his country’s continued support for Palestine. This came in a phone call with the head of the Hamas Shura Council, Mohammed Darwish Ismail, and members of the Hamas Political Bureau, according to sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
