Kuwait’s deputy chief of general staff yesterday met with his Turkish counterpart in the Kuwaiti capital, Kuwait, where the two officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation, according to a statement issued by the Kuwaiti military The meeting between Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Turkiye’s General Metin Gurak involved friendly exchanges and discussions on key matters of mutual interest, particularly on military matters and ways to enhance and develop them, the statement added. The meeting was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait, Tuba Nur Sonmez, alongside several senior military officers from both sides.
