Greece highlights rising trust in ties with Turkiye

Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis said yesterday that Athens has gradually reached a sufficient level of trust with Turkiye through open communication channels, Anadolu reported. In an interview with the Greek newspaper Kathimerini, Gerapetritis highlighted that over the past 15 months of rapprochement, both countries have established a sufficient level of trust via open communication channels. He added that he and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, had received instructions from both nation’s leaders to use the current circumstances to engage in comprehensive talks on the delimitation of the continental shelf and the exclusive economic zone.
