Saudi approves protocol for enhancing ties with Turkiye

The Saudi Cabinet has approved an amended protocol to establish a Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, Anadolu reported. The approval was made during the Cabinet meeting held in Riyadh yesterday, and chaired by King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, according to a statement issued by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA). On 13 July, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, at Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul during an official visit to Turkiye.
